There are different types of diabetic neuropathy and symptoms depend on the type of neuropathy affected. Some persons with diabetic neuropathy shows no symptoms and some other patients show symptoms such as numbness, tingling or pain in the feet and digestive system.
Signs of diabetic neuropathy can involve the sensory, motor and autonomic nervous systems. In some individuals, mostly with those focal neuropathy, the onset of pain may be sudden.
